Gilgit – Islamabad
As you arrive in Gilgit via air from Islamabad, our friendly company representative will be there to greet you. From Gilgit, we will embark on a scenic 90-kilometer drive to Karimabad. En route, we’ll make several photo stops to capture the stunning views. Lunch will be at Rakaposhi viewpoint, and then we’ll proceed to Karimabad. After reaching our destination, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, take a leisurely walk through the local bazaar. Enjoy a delightful dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll drive to the mesmerizing Hopar Valley in Nagar. This journey will take approximately one and a half hours from Karimabad. Once there, we’ll explore the majestic Hopar Glacier and indulge in some tea and refreshments. On our way back to Hunza, we’ll visit the historic Altit Fort, which boasts a rich history of over 900 years. Next, we’ll head to Baltit Fort for more cultural exploration. In the afternoon, witness a stunning sunset from Eagle Nest Duiker. As the evening sets in, we’ll drive back to Karimabad for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Kickstart the day with a lavish breakfast at the hotel, and then we’ll proceed to Gulmit. On our way, we’ll stop at Attabad Lake, also known as Shiskat or Gojal Lake. If you wish, there’s an option for boating at Attabad Lake. Continuing the journey, we’ll reach Gulmit and transfer you to the hotel. In the afternoon, explore the village, visit the old house and museum, and immerse yourself in the fascinating Wakhi Culture. Return to the hotel in the evening for a restful overnight stay.
Get ready for another day of exploration! After breakfast, we’ll drive to Sost, the last town in Pakistan before the Khunjerab Pass, which marks the border with China. Feel free to indulge in some shopping while we enjoy lunch at Sost. Following that, we’ll head to the enchanting Borit Lake, nestled in a small village. Savor a cup of tea while absorbing the breathtaking scenery. Next, we’ll visit the Hussaini Suspension Bridge for a thrilling experience. As the evening approaches, we’ll return to Gulmit for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
Today’s adventure takes us to Naltar Valley via the Karakoram Highway. We’ll drive through Rahim Abad and then uphill to the small valley of Naltar, renowned for its winter holidays and ski resort. During winters, it attracts national and international ski players for exciting events. Enjoy lunch and dinner at the hotel in Naltar Valley.
After breakfast, we’ll head to the mesmerizing Sath Rangee Lake. Alternatively, if you prefer a short walk, Lower Shani Lake is equally captivating. It takes around 45 minutes to drive from Naltar to Sat-Rangee Lake. Enjoy a delightful lunch by the lake before returning to Naltar. In the afternoon, you can either visit the Ski resort or relax at the hotel. The evening will be spent at the hotel with dinner and an overnight stay.
Bid farewell to Naltar after breakfast and drive back to Gilgit, which will take about 1-2 hours. Upon arrival in Gilgit, check-in to your hotel and take a short tour to visit the Old Bridge, Karga Buddha, and explore the vibrant local bazaar. The afternoon will be free for you to relax or continue shopping. Head back to the hotel for dinner and rest.
On this day, we’ll drive to Gakuch and Khalti Lake in the scenic Gupis Valley. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Gupis and make several photo stops at Khalti Lake and other beautiful spots during our journey. The Gupis and Phandar valleys are renowned for their trout fish. In the afternoon, we’ll return to Gilgit for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to Gilgit airport for your flight back to Islamabad, marking the end of this unforgettable journey through the enchanting landscapes of Hunza Valley.
