In the afternoon, we drive back to Gilgit, reminiscing about the day’s experiences.
As we bid farewell to Gilgit, we embark on a scenic drive to Besham along the legendary Karakoram Highway. With stopovers and lunch break, it may take about 9-10 hours. Let the beauty of the landscapes captivate you during this picturesque journey.
Our journey draws to a close as we return to Islamabad. Since it is only a 3-4 hour journey from Besham to Islamabad, it is quite possible to explore the Taxila museum and sites on the way.
