Itinerary

Day 1ARRIVAL AT LAHORE

Arrival at Lahore International airport, transfer to hotel, after taking some rest, we do sightseeing at the beautiful City, also known as (heart of Pakistan).We will visit old Lahore Bazaar, famous and historical Lahore Fort, The historic Lahore Fort, built in the 11th century A.D, is the only place where one can see deferent phases of Mogul, Visit Badshahi Mosque, Iqbal Park, Lahore museum, famous Anarkali Bazaar, we do our lunch at local restaurant, afternoon visit Shalimaar Garden, evening we do our dinner at the famous food street in Lahore, back to hotel for overnight.

Day 2LAHORE CITY TOUR

After breakfast we drive to Wagha, Pakistan-India Border to watch Flag ceremony, back to Lahore City, Visit Mausoleum of Hazrat Data Ganj Baksh, (known as Data Darbar),He was an eminent scholar and author of many books on theology, one of his famous books is Kashul Mahjub, He can be described as founder of Sufi Cult in Punjab. His tomb in Lahore is always thronged by devotees, day and night, Lahore is called, Data ki Nagri,we also visit Tomb of Mughal Emeror Jehangir and Hazrat Mian Mir Muhammad,evening back to hotel,dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 3LAHORE - ISLAMABAD

After breakfast we drive to Islamabad via Motorway,4-5 hours. enroute visit to famous Khiora Salt mines. Salt was discovered from khiora about 326 B.C, When a War begun between Alexander the great and King Poras on the bank of Jehlum river. Alexander horses were found licking stones, which gave hint about presence of Salt in Khioa. Further drive to Islamabad, enroute we do our lunch at local restaurant, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 4TAXILA SIGHT SEEING

After breakfast we drive to Taxila,25 km and about 45 min drive from Islamabad, Taxila was from the ancient Neolithic of Saraikala to the ramparts of Sirkap (2nd century B.C),and the City of Sirsukh(1st century A.D), Taxila illustrate the different stages in the development of a city on the Indus. that was influenced by Persia, Greece and central Asia and which, from the 5th century B.C to 2nd Century A.D was an important Buddhist Centre of learning. After sightseeing at Taxila we do our lunch at local restaurant, drive back to old City of Rawalpindi, visit colourful bazaar in Rawalpindi, and new City of Islamabad, Visit Shakar Pariyaan Garden, Daman-e-koh,and Faisal Mosque. Back to hotel, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 5ISLAMABAD - SWAT

After breakfast we drive to swat via Malakand pass, enroute we shall visit Takht Bhai Buddhist Monastery, Takht Bhai is a Parthin archaeological site near Mardan City, it was first a Zoroastrian Complex which, after later arrival of Buddhism, was then converted into a Buddistic complex. It is dated to 1st century BCE, it was listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1980. Lunch at local restaurant, further drive to Swat, and it’s almost 390 km from Islamabad, 5-6 hours drive, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 6SWAT - SIGHT SEEING

After breakfast we shall visit to Swat museum, its located in Saidu Sharif, just few km from Mengora City, The museum has a huge collection of Gandhara sculptures from Buddhist sites in swat, The original museum was constructed by DOAM with the contribution of the Wali Swat and the Italian Mission in 1958.We also Visit some Buddhist sites around Swat, afternoon Visit Saidu Sharif Bazaar, lunch dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 7SWAT - CHILAS

After breakfast we drive to Chilas via Shangla Pass, its almost 345km until Chilas from Swat, enroute we will stop for lunch at Dassu, and then our next stop will be at Shatiyal, where we will see rock carvings, further drive to Chilas,8-9 hours from swat to Chilas stops, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 8CHILAS - KARIMABAD

Drive to Karimabad from Chilas, 225km until Kariamabad almost 4-5 hours drive, enroute we just stop near Chilas to see rock inscriptions, further drive to Gilgit, we do our lunch at Gilgit and proceed to Karimabad, we will do stop at Rakaposhi view point for afternoon Tea with a beautiful View of Rakaposhi Mountain 7788m,further drive to Karimabad, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 9KARIMABAD

Drive to Karimabad from Chilas, 225km until Kariamabad almost 4-5 hours drive, enroute we just stop near Chilas to see rock inscriptions, further drive to Gilgit, we do our lunch at Gilgit and proceed to Karimabad, we will do stop at Rakaposhi view point for afternoon Tea with a beautiful View of Rakaposhi Mountain 7788m,further drive to Karimabad, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 10KARIMABAD GULMIT

After breakfast we drive to Attabad lake, only 20 min. drive from Karim Abad, from here we start boating on Attabad Lake or know as Gojal lake, on 4th January 2010, a massive rockslide blocked the Hunza river at Attabad, a 22 km long lake developed behind the barrier, 2-3 hrs boating until Gulmit. Day we drive to Gulkin Village, from there we will start hiking to Borit lake over Gulkin glacier, almost 1-2 hrs walk on glacier, we will reach to Borit Lake, a beautiful lake in the middle of small village of Borit, we do our lunch at Borit Lake, walk around village, visit some local houses, meet the local People, and afternoon we drive back to Gulmit, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 11KHUNJERAB EXCURSION

After breakfast at hotel in Gulmit we drive to Khunjerab Pass, 4734 m, is the highest point on the Karakoram Highway, provides an easy all-weather entry from the famous Sinkiang Province of the Peoples Republic of China, this route is a beautiful drive, with views of the high mountains of the Karakorams and Distan Pamir Mountain Ranges, Khunjerab is now declared a National Park, one can see Marco Polo sheep, we do our packed lunch at Khunjerab Pass after lunch proceeds to Gulmit, 3-4 hours from Khunjerab to Gulmit. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 12GULMIT - GILGIT

After breakfast we start our boating from Gulmit to Attabad on attabad lake, or know as Gojal Lake, almost 2 hours boating until Attabad, proceed to Gilgit, enroute we will make stop at Rakaposhi View point for a warm lunch, after lunch proceed to Gilgit, 3-4 hours drive from attabad to Gilgit, afternoon visit local bazaar in Gilgit, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 13GILGIT - BESHAM

Early in the morning after breakfast, we start driving towards Besham via karakoram highway,8-9 hours drive from Gilgit to Besham. Lunch at Dassu, dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 14BESHAM - ISLAMABAD

After breakfast we drive to Islamabad, 6-7 hours. transfer to hotel, afternoon free for shopping or rest at hotel, early evening we do our dinner at hotel and some sleep while we have to drop you at the airport about 01-30 am early morning. Fly back homeland.
